Lewis Stout is a member of the Dramatists Guild, the Directors Guild of America and a past Stage Manager member of the Actor's Equity. He is a graduate in theatre from the University of Minnesota and has earned an MFA in directing from the University of Hawaii. Lewis has written and directed for stage, film and television, including multiple productions of his original scripts. He is the founder of the Hawaii Performing Arts Company and has been the Managing Director of the Los Angeles Theatre Alliance, President of the Santa Monica Theatre Guild and Director of Theatre Operations for the SMMUSD and has worked with numerous local, regional, and professional theatres and arts organization as a writer, director, educator and scenic designer.
